For the past few years, I’ve used this blog as a means of keeping people updated on my internship with The For the City Network. However in June, I wrapped up my internship with FTCN. I spent the rest of the summer at a camp called Stoney Creek Ranch as it underwent a transformation to serve inner-city youth. Then, I returned to Austin to start a new job coaching and teaching at Reagan Early College High School.

I’ll do my best to use this blog to share my experiences with the firsts of teaching and walking alongside 107 freshmen and juniors doing their best to become the first college-goers in their families. And, as is often the case, there will be a few words shared about the humbling lessons I’m learning as I get new glimpses of the Lord’s strength through experiencing the weakness of my temporal body.
